Carmela's Italian Ristorante

This is a wonderful little restaurant. The pastas are fantastic. Get a meatball appetizer! They also do a great job on cocktails. Reallly great service, atmosphere and food. Great for a special occasion, date night or family dinner. Highly recommend.

The staff was very attentive in the service was great. Overall, the food was very good. We ordered linguini with clams and that I got rigatoni with vodka sauce and added shrimp. For appetizers, we got the octopus and a special cheese, stuffed zucchini blossoms. The pasta was fresh, and our shrimp and octopus were cooked perfectly. All dishes were seasoned well. Potatoes and celery on the octopus appetizer were not needed. Overall great experience and will definitely be returning.

Such a wonderful atmosphere for a family dinner! The pasta tasted very fresh and was such an individual experience in of itself because it is currently a rarity in my life and properly made noodles stand out which was 100% the case here. The chef hit the mark with the classic flavors, the cook and overall presentation with everything we ordered. We had great service, terrific wine, fantastic Italian cuisine and a lovely family experience...what else can I say?...we were smitten with Carmela's.

I just recently went to Carmela’s for a date for my one year anniversary with my girlfriend and this was THE place to pick. Our waiter was Juan who provided amazing service and was very friendly, and even joking in a very respectful manner. He always made sure we were taken care of and that we were accommodated. The food was a 10/10, I got the linguine Carbonara and it was amazing. For dessert I highly recommend getting the pistachio chocolate cake, it’s simply unique and really rich in flavor. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Thank you Juan!!!

This was one of our finest meals, the food was amazing, the staff was at its best. We didn’t have reservations (recommended) so we sat at the bar for 20-30 minutes and a couple didn’t show up so they sat us at their table. The breads are amazing. Since it’s downtown and parking is definitely difficult we used a Uber.

Amazing bar! Love their drinks and bar service! Cool eggplants. I also tried crab cake here long time ago (it was a special) and I even took 2, that’s how cool it was ! I wish they will bring it back! Big portion. My favorite drinks are here.

Went here tonight for my anniversary dinner and it was absolutely amazing. From the service, management, chef... every interaction we had was top notch hospitality and service! Frankie the manager was great and friendly. We enjoyed talking to him and he made us feel like family. Daniel was our server and he made great recommendations and was knowledgeable about the food and menu. This will now be our regular spot. They have different specials daily so be sure to call and ask!

Carmela’s is hands down my favorite italian restaurant in the area! I have been there countless times and the quality and service never disappoints me. The staff is so welcoming and creates such a wonderful atmosphere. The food is to die for Chef Anthony never fails to disappoint! I love every single dish I have tried here and trust me I have had over half the menu! The specials are also always great! THE MEATBALLS ARE TO DIE FOR!!
